Worship and Dress Code
The dress code for classes, “Hour of Power” worship services, and other TAWAWA events is “reasonable” casual wear.
Bring dress clothes for the opening worship and the Matriculation to Christian Living. All youth are asked to dress for the opening worship and Matriculation to Christian Living in clothes suitable for worship in your local churches.
Matriculation to Christian Living
There will be classes for children and youth; clergy and lay; and special workshops given by the Third District WMS.
The YPD Matriculation will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. Each church is urged to support the matriculation by encouraging young women and young men to participate.
Rules and Chaperones
The rules should be read and explained to all youth prior to arrival. Download the Rules of Proper Conduct here in PDF format.
Every church must have an adequate number of chaperones for their children. Chaperones must be 21 or older.
There will be a meeting for chaperones on Monday, at 3:30 p.m. in Allen Commons. Each person residing on campus should bring sufficient bedding and towels for his or her bed.
Adult Bible Study & Workshops
There will be worship, Bible studies, workshops, dialogue, and fellowship for all ages. All members of the WMS, Lay, and clergy are urged to attend.
Every church is encouraged to send there youth and adults. The TAWAWA experience offers something for all components of the Third District.
