Connectional Lay Organization African Trip
December 6 - 15, 2011
Dear Members:
What excitement it is to announce our second historic African Summit and Executive Board Meeting in Zambia. This trip is in conjunction with the CLO celebrating its centennial anniversary.
In 2007 the Executive Board of the Connectional Lay Organization veted to return to the motherland to hold an Executive Board meeting and Summit to interact with fellow laypersons in Districts 14, 15, 17, 18, 19 and 20.
This trip promises to be one of spiritual uplift, meaningful deliberations in experiencing the various cultures of the countries including tours to Swaziland and the seaport city of Durban.
I am most excited to visit one of the orphanages and spend time with the children. We will also be provided a list of things they need at the orphanage.
Join us as Xodus International Group once again serves as our tour operator on thie second historic meeting of our global organization on the continent of Africa and hear those thrilling words of "Welcome home!" God bless our efforts as we live His word - In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.

Please Note:
We are forced to change the dates of the African trip due to several Episcopal Districts holding Annual Conferences in the month of October. As you know 2011 is election year of delegates to the General Conference and a number of persons expressed regrets of not being able to join the African trip because of the elections.
The new dates for the African trip are December 6 - 15, 2011. Airfare has a slight increase but all other costs are the same. Hopefully, these dates will allow more laypersons and clergy to participate.
